How Fridge Magnets handles your family's data.

What we store

Only what you put in: your account details, your family's events, chores, lists, budgets, documents, photos and vehicle records. Files you upload are stored in encrypted object storage; everything else lives in our database.

Who can see it

Your family's data is visible only to members of that family. Roles control what each member can change — children and teens can see the household's shared information but cannot manage members, budgets or approvals.

Your data is yours

You can export everything associated with your account at any time from your account page, and you can delete your account outright. Deleting removes your personal records permanently. Shared family content you created is handed to another member of the family rather than destroyed, so the household doesn't lose its calendar and history when one person leaves. If you are the only member, the family and all of its content are deleted with you.

Children

Fridge Magnets is designed for household use, including accounts for minors managed by a parent or guardian. Accounts for children under 13 must be created and administered by an adult in the family.
